Spring Farming at Starr Horse Retreats

We’re preparing the land for another season with spring fertilization. Our east field was once untouched desert—never farmed, never irrigated. But with intention, and soil sample results Ric seeded it last spring, and the pasture grass came alive for our horses to graze. Here Ric is fertilizing again as the first green shoots begin to break through.
